Glades Moonlight Ride

Come glide through the glades for an evening bike ride around Shark Valley Loop. Miami naturalist, Rebecca Wood, will guide our ride as we learn about different ecosystems within the Everglades - and how water connects them all.

We'll meet at sunset and make our way around the 15.8 -mile loop with several stops to climb the observation tower, respectfully check out wildlife, and chat. This is a byob - bring your own bike - event, and we'll park outside the park entrance. More specific directions will be emailed upon registration.

During this experiential learning meetup, Rebecca will explain how water moves through the different ecosystems that makes up the River of Grass. As the night falls around us, we'll experience the River of Grass become the River of Stars.

To Bring: Your bike, a headlamp or other bike light, a backpack with water and other snacks or goodies.
