Sunday, May 5th from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Cultivating our capacity to uplift and gladden the heart-mind is an essential aspect of our practice. Too often there can be a sense that we're only supposed to be working with the difficult or challenging on our spiritual path, that it's supposed to be hard work. But we can recognize that opening our hearts to that which brings ease and joy is also an inseparable and necessary part of our journey. Let's explore together this aspect of practice which turns our hearts to that which is beautiful, heart-nourishing and uplifting.
This offering with Yong Oh will be held in-person only, and will include periods of meditation, dharma reflections and Q&A. All are welcome.
COST: This half-day retreat is offered on a sliding scale of $36, $48, $60 or $72 with two options for scholarships. Scholarship option #1 is $18 and scholarship option #2 is free. We invite you to consider paying at the highest level you can to make it possible for others to join on scholarship. Thank you for your generosity.
***It’s important to note that registration fees support the Durango Dharma Center. The teachings are offered on the basis of dana, a practice of mutual generosity that has been alive since the time of the Buddha. Those offering the teachings rely on the donations of participants to support their valuable work in this world.
