GKF Little Tybee Island Camp n PaddleBack by popular demand, but moved from the spring to the fall this year for better fishing opportunities.
Pack light, travel light. In this event, we pack camping and fishing supplies into our kayaks, paddle from Big Tybee Island to Little Tybee Island, set up basecamp and fish all weekend. Little Tybee island is a special place. Not only is the fishing great, but so is the beach and exploring the surrounding area. There are few kayak fishing and camping opportunities like this one.
The tides rule everything around the island. The idea is to ride the tides into the direction you want to go.
Meet at the Ally 3 Boat Ramp on Friday by noon. We'll take the outgoing tide out to Little Tybee.
