Göteborg Jazz Orchestra and Föreningen Brasil Sverige Göteborg invites you for the second consecutive year to experience a night with friendship, warmth, energy, joy, extravaganza and fantastic music that blends bossa nova, samba and jazz into something very special. You can also get a taste of brazilian food, take part in vibrant samba dancing and witness the graceful martial art of Capoeira with honorable Mestre Tubarao.Special musical guests - brasilian singer/songwriter Jussanam!
Born in Rio de Janeiro, now working and touring internationally and lives in Cannes, France. Moves easy between jazz/bossa/latin with an soulful and gentle voice. Very happy to welcome her to Gothenburg and Sweden.

FÖRENINGEN BRASIL SVERIGE
Meet Clara Neto, president of the association Brasil Sweden. She has devoted 17 years to the Brazilian community in Gothenburg and run projects to promote the Portuguese language in Sweden, such as "Curtindo a Língua Portuguesa na Suécia" and "As Jornadas Pedagógicas de Língua Portuguesa na Escandinávia".

With more than 44 years dedicated to capoeira, and with a book released on the subject, Mestre Tubarão will give us the essence of this sport that mixes art, dance and above all resistance, so present in Brazilian culture. Also founder and driving Brazilian Day Gothenburg!
GÖTEBORG JAZZ ORCHESTRA is one of the most exciting movements in Swedish jazz. The big band has made a rocket career and in a short time established on the highest level. In their love to music they always look for new expressions and they attract collaborations with the best musicians - domestic and abroad. They often reach over the genre barriers with new formats. The first Monday every month Göteborg Jazz Orchestra performs under the motto "Jazz is fun!" GJO promotes jazz music in Göteborg, always plays great music, encouraging young talents and presents interesting guests and themes!
