Homer Watson House & Galley (HWHG) is excited to be participating in GivingTuesday on Tuesday December 2, 2025! For the second year, we are raising funds to send future creators to art programs and camps! GivingTuesday is an international initiative that harnesses the power of radical generosity across the globe. Established in 2012, it began as a straightforward concept: a day dedicated to encouraging acts of kindness.
Our Goal for GivingTuesday 2025: Raise $3000 for kids wanting to attend art camps and school trips at HWHG. That’s about 44 kids who could enjoy a free full day of programming!
Our programs offer kids a chance to explore creativity, connect with nature, and experience the arts—regardless of financial barriers. But we need your help!
How you can help:
1. Donate
On December 2, or throughout the whole month of December and help HWHG continue this meaningful work.
$35 will cover a half day of art programming for one child
$70 will cover one full day of art programming for one child
2. Host a fundraiser
Create your own fundraising goals and start your own fundraiser in person or online through Canada Helps. Go to https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/homer-watson-house-foundation/.
3. Share
Help HWHG spread the word about our campaign! Whether it’s talking about it with a neighbour, emailing family or sharing on social media – it all makes a difference!

4. Visit
On Tuesday December 2, 2025, come visit HWHG and see what new exhibitions we have on and chat with our lovely staff!
Every contribution helps us give more children the opportunity to learn, grow, and create through art.
