🏕️Camping🏕️
Please let us know if you are planning to camp at the DZ during the event and specify if you will be tenting or bringing a camper. Camping space is limited so this will be a first come first serve basis. There will be no running water available and will have out houses on site. No open fires of any kind are permitted on the airport property.
🚁 Helicopter Jump Information 🚁
We are planning to offer helicopter jumps during the boogie this year with 49 North Helicopters! Due to the potential risk of wildfires in the area during the summer season, we will not be taking pre-payment or formal pre-registration for heli jumps in advance in case conditions lead to cancellation.
That said, we are currently gauging interest from jumpers so we can plan loads and logistics accordingly. The approximate cost will be $155 CAD per jump, and participants must hold a minimum A CoP or higher to take part, and attendance is mandatory for the Heli briefing. Briefing time is TBD.
Helicopter jumps will most likely take place on Saturday, weather and conditions permitting.
If everything goes to plan and conditions cooperate, we’ll be sending it from a helicopter over some of the most beautiful ocean views around thanks to 49 North Helicopters! 🌊🪂
If heli jumps are something you’d like to participate in, please let us know during registration so we can get an idea of numbers. We will be confirming all details on the Friday night of the boogie.
🌙 Night Jump Information 🌙
We are planning to hold night jumps on Friday, July 3rd, 2026!
The cost for the night jump will be the regular jump ticket price of $48.30 CAD (including tax). Participants must hold a minimum A CoP or higher to take part, and attendance is mandatory for the night jump briefing. Briefing time is TBD.
The first night jump load will be wheels up at last light.
To participate in the night jump, you must bring:
-A helmet light
-A flashlight attached to your wrist
-A light attached to your chest strap
-An illuminated altimeter
Please note: Chem lights are not permitted for the night jump.
🥓🌅 Sunrise Bacon Jump Information 🌅🥓
We are planning to hold Sunrise Bacon Jumps on Saturday, July 4th, 2026!
Price: Regular altitude jump ticket ($48.30 CAD including tax)
The Sunrise Bacon Load is a fourth-year running Giv’er in the River tradition — the morning equivalent of a sunset beer load only with Bacon instead! Once a year, our dedicated pilots make an extra early start, giving eager jumpers the chance to experience sunrise from altitude over the ocean and mountains. Jumpers are greeted upon landing with Hot and Fresh Bacon! 🥓
Pre-payment for the sunrise jump is required by Friday night and can be paid at the drop zone.
🍺 Swoop n’ Chug Competition Information 🍺
We are planning to hold the Swoop n’ Chug Competition on Saturday, July 4th, 2026!
Price: Regular Hop n’ Pop jump ($31.50 CAD including tax)
To finish off Saturday’s jumping, the Swoop n’ Chug Competition will take place on the final loads of the day!
Don’t let the name fool you — this competition is open to all jumpers, however only those who are trained and current in swooping techniques will be permitted to perform swoops.
The goal of the competition is accuracy and timing. The timer starts at the first point of contact with the ground and stops when the can is empty. Full details will be provided to all registered participants.
Please note that there will be a limited number of loads available for the competition. Depending on interest and registration numbers, participation may be determined by lottery selection to help keep things fair for everyone.
Further details and competition logistics will be announced on the Saturday of the boogie.
🌊 Water Jump Information 🌊
We are planning to hold Water Jumps on Sunday, July 5th, 2026!
Pricing: Regular Hop n’ Pop jump ($31.50 CAD including tax)
Participants must hold a minimum A CoP (Certificate of Proficiency) or higher to take part in the water jumps, and attendance at the mandatory briefing. (briefing time TBD).
The premise of the water jumps remains the same — a fun and memorable way to end the boogie with a splash!
This year there will be no rental gear available for water jumps. Jumpers wishing to participate must use their own equipment or make independent arrangements.
Participants may be required to have their AAD removed prior to the jump, please reference the manufacturers recommendations or consult your rigger. Keep an eye on the event page for an announcement with local rigger contact information to arrange AAD removal and reserve repacks. Costs for AAD removal and reserve repacks are at the discretion of each individual rigger.
We will have designated space available for canopy drying and rig hanging for a fee of $45 per rig.
