Ready to try something new? This one-hour Spin Session is a fun and accessible introduction to the pottery wheel. Perfect for complete beginners, this class is all about enjoying the experience of shaping clay.Here's how it works:
An instructor will start with a short, 10-minute demonstration of wheel throwing.
After the demo, you'll get on the wheel, and the instructor will assist you one-on-one.
Most participants make 2-3 pieces during the session.
You will get messy, so wear clothes you don't mind getting covered in clay. We provide everything else and handle all the clean-up.
Finishing & Firing
If you make a piece you love and would like to keep, you can choose a glaze color at the studio. Then, you'll schedule a time to come back and glaze your piece. We'll notify you when your finished piece is ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks.
A finishing and firing fee of $15 per piece you decide to keep will be charged at the end of class.
