About this Event

Brad Feld has been an early-stage entrepreneur and investor since 1987. He co-founded two venture capital firms, Foundry Group and Mobius Venture Capital, and multiple companies, including Techstars. Brad is a writer and speaker on venture capital investing and entrepreneurship and has written several popular books, including Venture Deals and Startup Communities. He runs the Anchor Point Foundation with his wife, Amy Batchelor.

Learn about his new book, Give First: The Power of Mentorship

In a world that often prioritizes transactions over trust, Give First makes the case for a different kind of success—one built on mentorship, long-term thinking, and generosity without expectation. Drawing on decades of experience as a venture capitalist and startup founder, Brad Feld shares stories and principles that have shaped some of the most impactful companies and ecosystems in tech.

Whether you’re launching your first venture, advising others, or leading change in complex systems, Give First offers a practical framework for building lasting relationships and resilient communities—starting not with what you’ll get, but with what you’re willing to give.

Getting to the Venue:

From Southwest Garage: Exit Southwest Garage and walk up the hill to the left of the football field. The Hariri Building is at the far end of the field. Turn right and walk in the main door to Hariri.

From Main Gates: Follow the diagonal sidewalk across the Front Lawn. Walk through Red Square, an open brick plaza, and up a short flight of stairs. Continue to walk straight ahead, passing Reiss Science Building, and proceed up the stairs to the Leavey Center on the left. From the doors of the Leavey Center, walk to the left, past the Uncommon Grounds coffee shop, and through Sellinger Lounge. Turn right and enter the double doors. Near the end of the hall, walk through the door located to the left and across the patio into the 2nd floor of the Hariri Building.
