Discover the thrill of dragon boating this summer!
As the dragon boat season approaches, we're excited to welcome new paddlers to join our crews. Whether you're eager to become a part of a team or simply looking to try something new, here's your chance.
BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL:

Time: Be at the Z Pier Toilets by 8.45am for a briefing before we hit the water. We should be finished at approximately 10.30am
Location: Z Pier, Westhaven Marina, Auckland
Parking: Free parking is available near the Drowning Prevention Office which is a 5-minute walk to Z Pier. Alternatively, there is paid parking at Z Pier.
You'll have the opportunity to meet our friendly dragon boat community and experience the excitement of dragon boating for FREE!
Don't be worried about not having any experience. Our skilled team will provide you with all the necessary guidance. Just remember to bring a few essentials:
- Gym clothing you don't mind getting wet (nothing too baggy)
- Go barefoot, or bring water shoes/jandals
- A water bottle to stay hydrated
- Sun protection - hat, sunscreen
- We'll provide everything else
For Safety reasons, all paddlers must be aged 12 and up, and able to swim up to 50m unassisted and wear life jackets (we will provide)
