Join us for our annual Give Cancer the Boot Survivorship 5K/1 Mile Walk in honor of cancer survivors everywhere!This fun-filled event is meant to celebrate life and survivorship and gives friends and family members a chance to show support for their loved ones. This is a chip-timed 5K (3.1 miles) through the South Texas Medical Center. There is also a 1.2-mile walking path.
When:
Saturday, April 6, 2023
7:30 a.m. - Registration begins
8: 30 a.m. - Opening ceremony
9 a.m. - Race begins

Registration Fees:
• Cancer survivors & children under 12 - Free
• Early bird special - $30 through March 4th
• Normal registration - $35 through April 4th
• Packet pickup day (April 5) & Day of Race - $40
*For children under 12, there is an option to purchase a shirt for $10.*
Proceeds from the race benefit Patient and Family Services at the Mays Cancer Center. Patient and Family Services provides essential social service support to our patients, such as transportation for appointments, nutrition and clinical dietitian services, and social workers who help patients address numerous barriers to care.
