GIS Day Career Fair

Hosted by Geography, Environmental Studies and Geosciences at NEIU, in partnership with the Geographic Society of Chicago, GIS Day Career Fair will be on Wednesday, November 18, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Student Union at NEIU. The fair brings together students, recent graduates, and professionals in geography, GIS, environmental studies, planning, and related fields.

Sign up as an attendee (General Admission) or an exhibitor. Exhibitors will be provided with name badges, student resumes, a table, chairs and Wi-Fi. Please let us know if you will need access to electricity. You will be contacted by the GSC Office to confirm these details.

There are several ways to take part:

• Represent your organization. If your employer might want a table, we would be glad to connect with you or with the right person there. There is no cost to participate.
• Pass it along. If someone else at your organization handles outreach or recruiting, please forward this information to them
• Share your story. Even if your employer is not able to take part, you are welcome to join us at our program table and talk with students informally about your career path. Students often find these conversations the most useful part of the evening.
