Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others.
Since the inception of Girls on the Run in 1996, our goal has been to create a welcoming space where all can have a meaningful and engaging experience and feel like they belong. When we say “all,” we mean people of all races, ethnicities, income levels, sexual orientations, gender identities, religions, and abilities. Girls on the Run creates a sense of belonging through its curriculum and coach training to its staff, volunteer and vendor recruitment processes.
Girls on the Run was founded in 1996, but Girls on the Run Central Coast was founded this year to bring the program to the Central Coast!
