Alex Enriquez began her BJJ journey in 2009. She is a black belt at Atos Atlanta under Professor Bruno Frazatto. She also has six years of experience in wrestling at Cambridge High School under Don St. James and Life University under Ashley Sword and Christian Flavin. Among some of Alex’s accomplishments include being an ADCC Trials Champion, ADCC veteran, UFCBJJ Veteran, Medusa Combat Jiu Jitsu Champion, IBJJF No Gi Worlds Black Belt Champion. She is also a 3x GA Girls State champion, 3x Female High School All-American (Folkstyle & Freestyle) and WCWA All-American.
....
Faye Cherrier began her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey with the goal of learning self-defense, but quickly fell in love with the sport’s competitive nature. Over six years of consistent training, she has medaled at all major tournaments in both gi and no-gi, pushing her to continually elevate her Jiu Jitsu.
In 2020, she began training under renowned instructor Bruno Frazatto as a brown belt and earned her black belt just two years later — a milestone she proudly cherishes. Most recently, Faye captured gold at the IBJJF Pan Championships and is just coming off a silver medal win at the IBJJF No-Gi World Championships.
Now a passionate competitor and instructor, Faye is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of athletes, emphasizing discipline, resilience, and the life skills developed through Jiu Jitsu. Outside the academy, she enjoys wrestling, calisthenics, weightlifting, yoga, traveling, and exploring new cuisines.
....
Monique “Moe” Travis began her martial arts journey in 2007, first stepping onto the mats as a young mom seeking strength, confidence, and purpose. Over the years, she has competed across multiple disciplines, including amateur MMA and professional Muay Thai, and has spent decades immersed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, CrossFit , and combat sports culture. Her competitive experience has shaped a coaching style rooted in resilience, technical development, and long-term sustainability on the mats.
Jiu-jitsu is also a family practice in her life. Her husband and two out of the three children train as well, making martial arts a shared foundation built around discipline, connection, and growth. Through Girls in Gis, Moe is proud to support a community that empowers women and girls to train hard, support one another, and find confidence not only as athletes, but as individuals balancing life, family, and personal goals.
....
Jesse Hauch’s curiosity about Jiu-Jitsu was sparked after taking her first class in 2014. Love at first triangle, she fully embraced her jiu-jitsu journey and has been training and teaching under Professor Bruno Frazatto since 2016.
Off the mats, Jesse is a trained pastry chef. She balances her love of baking and pastry with her commitment to training, competing, and coaching. As a competitor, she has achieved numerous gold medals and placed in all of the major tournaments at every belt color.
As a coach Jesse emphasizes the lessons of accountability, compassion, competitiveness, resilience, and discipline that is inherent in Jiu-Jitsu - hoping to inspire other “competitive hobbyists” to never give up.
