Girls In Aviation Day - Yankee Ladies WAI

Join the Yankee Ladies Chapter of Women in Aviation International for an exciting and inspiring Girls in Aviation Day event designed to introduce young women to the world of aviation and aerospace.

This special event provides an opportunity to meet aviation professionals, learn about a variety of aviation careers, participate in interactive activities, and discover the many possibilities available in the aviation industry. Whether you are simply curious about aviation or already dreaming of earning your pilot certificate, we invite you to spend the day exploring, learning, and having fun!

Event Details:

• Location: 31705 E Service Dr, Building 530, Detroit, MI
• Check in: 8:30 AM
• Program Begins: 9:00 AM sharp
• Event Concludes: Approximately 2:00 PM

Each participant will receive a complimentary Girls in Aviation Day merchandise/swag bag.

Additional Information:

• Light breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided.
• Parents are welcome to remain for the duration of the event if they wish.
• If your child will be driving themselves to the event, ALL required forms must be competed prior to arrival. Registration forms will be emailed to the email address provided during registraton.

Registration Requirements:

• Parents attending the event do NOT need to purchase a ticket.
• Pre-registration is REQUIRED. Walk-in registrations cannot be accomodated.
• Registration fees are NOT refundable.
