About this Event

Girls in Aviation Day 2024!

Join us on Sat Sep 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM EDT for a day full of aviation fun! This in-person event will take place at Sheltair Tampa, 4751 Jim Walter Boulevard, Hangar 5, Tampa, FL 33607. Young people of all ages are welcome to come and learn about aviation, meet female aviators, and explore the world of flight. Our event will feature interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and inspiring speakers. Come and discover the exciting possibilities of a career in aviation! Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to empower young people in aviation.

We welcome school or youth organization groups. Please complete the "Tickets" for members attending as a group.

Will this event be held outdoors? Aircraft will be on static display both in the hangar and outside. Please wear UV protective clothing, hat, and sunscreen. A limited supply of bottled water will be available. Please bring your filled water bottles. Refill station available.

Where will I park? Signage for parking will be obvious. Enter 4751 Jim Walter Boulevard, Tampa, FL in your GPS to arrive at Sheltair. Parking will be near Hangar 5.
