Girl Ultra is a Mexico City-born singer, songwriter and creative who’s spent the last few years quietly dismantling the boundaries around Latin R&B and becoming a genre bender. From Tiny Desk, KEXP and COLORS to Boiler Room, Primavera and Coachella, her world has always lived somewhere between the club, the overdriven guitar and the after-hours.
Now she returns with RRRomeo, a new album produced alongside Chromeo, and a live show that’s rougher, looser and much more fun. Think dancefloor sweat, indie-sleaze abandon, infamous new-wave synths and guitars turned up too loud. After years of touring across the Americas and Europe, Girl Ultra is bringing the mess back to the stage: romantic, unapologetic and PDA enthusiastic.
