Girl-tivities® Creative Play Workshop with Play RX

About this event:

We are partnering with Play RX (@theplayrxcure) to host an ADULT PLAY WORKSHOP to get our creative juices flowing, and find the importance of play as adults.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind workshop that combines play and the creative arts for the purpose of curing burnout and aiding in overall adult health and wellness. Play is proven to promote positive psychological health, relieve stress, develop attention skills, and strengthen authentic confidence- so why is it so socially taboo for adults to play?! At this special spring themed Connect Rx event, we will play and collaboratively create with each other through visual arts, writing, improv, movement, and problem solving. Connect Rx is specially curated to create deeper connections and friendships through shared play! No skills or talent required, but you DO need to bring a playful spirit, a desire to drop the nasty inner critic, and a growth mindset to do some pretty -ahem- weird sh*t. 

We will be doing a Connect RX event with Renee (owner of Play RX) which consists of unique ways to connect to each other. Agenda:

12pm – check in time, goodie bags, find seats

12:15pm – Girl-tivities introduction + announcements

12:30pm – start workshop

2:30pm – open to social hour / mingle

3pm – end of event / clean up.

If you didn't come to our last events and aren't familiar... Girl-tivities (formerly known as Girls Night Out) is a social event company that plans monthly themed events for women in Arizona to meet new women and do new things. Each month we host a different theme and location while partnering up with businesses. We do a variety of themes - fitness, social, crafts, and inspirational events. This is a friendly and comfortable environment to come alone or bring friends if you'd like! All that we ask is you leave your boyfriends or husbands home for the night (; (hence the name Girl-tivities, it is women only.)

What to bring:

Yourself + comfy clothes (clothes you don't want to get dirty in case we craft!!)

Refunds will are accepted up to the week before event. Week leading up to the event there are no refunds for any reason.
