Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2024: Shoreline Clean-Up

Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2024 - Saturday, September 14th

Interested in volunteering and making a difference at Shirley Chisholm State Park? Join us for a shoreline cleanup along Fresh Creek at the Penn Water Access Area.

All materials, including hand sanitizer, gloves, and garbage pickers are provided. Please dress for the weather and wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy!

All ages. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Penn Water Access Area is about 0.25 miles, or a 5-10 minute walk, from the Pennsylvania Ave Parking Lot. See map below.

Please wear comfortable shoes for gravel trails, and bring water!
