GIRL SCOUT CODING FOR GOOD DAY (Brownies and Juniors)Saturday, March 18

Brownies and Juniors complete three coding projects to earn all three Coding for Good badges.
Girl Scouts learn basic programming language (modified Javascript) and coding rules to create and share simple apps they design and customize.
Girl Scouts learn how digital games are created with computer codes, and use their coding skills to customize and share a digital game.
Girls brainstorm to come up with ideas to create an app that can be used for good, then design, code and share the app they create and customize.
Brownies and Juniors complete requirements toward their Coding for Good 1: Coding Basics Badge, Coding for Good 2: Digital Game Design Badge and Coding for Good 3: App Development Badge (badges are included in registration fee).
Girl Scouts should bring a snack (if you wish) and their own device (laptop or tablet) for this workshop. A physical keyboard is recommended if using a tablet.
