Our goal for the night will be to answer all questions and hopefully help you and other parents and guardians start a new a troop in the community. Girls will be engaged in making a Girl Scout craft and learning about our Girl Scout promise and law.
WHY GIRL SCOUTS?
Girl Scouts is proven to help girls thrive in five key ways as they:
- Seek challenges and learns from setbacks.
- Develop a strong sense of self.
- Display positive values.
- Form and maintain healthy relationships.
- Identify and solve problems in the community.
The inclusive environment of a Girl Scout troop creates a safe space where girls can try new things, develop a range of skills, take on leadership roles, and just be themselves.
