GIRL POWER: Self-Care Journaling Workshop

Join us at Hester Street Fair for a journaling workshop centered around some important topics such as self-love and radical self-acceptance. During our time together we will be working through powerful grounding prompts centered around this topic in addition to topics and themes such as: intention setting, stepping out of insecurities and into our true selves, celebrating self/others and other areas that will help lift one another up towards our hopes/dreams/desires

This is an inclusive and safe space, all are welcome. Journals and materials will be provided!

What you can expect:

• a safe and welcoming space to journal
• your very own journal
• thoughtful prompts that will assist you in digging deeper
• new tools to put pen to paper
• a space to prioritize yourself but also an opportunity to connect with others
• action items to begin or flow more into your journaling practice 
• time and instructions to collage + decorate your journals

Misc Details:

• the journaling workshop is from 12:00-1:30pm, more details on specific location at the fair will be revealed closer to date.
• all are invited to stay to hang out during this vibrant, sunny and colorful street fair!

Emily Chertow is the founder of @journalingclasses, an inclusive community and guided journaling workshops centered around mindfulness and self-care with an emphasis on the power of putting pen to paper. Emily created this community because she believes in the power of journaling, the importance of human connection and strength in talking about mental health.
