Der weltbekannte Perkussionist Giridhar Udupa, ein Synonym für die Ghatam und Vertreter der karnatischen Musik, veröffentlichte 2024 zusammen mit Sam Shackleton sein erstes Album My Name is Giridhar Udupa, das traditionelle indische Perkussion mit elektronischen Elementen verschmilzt und neue Wege in diesem Genre beschreitet.
Shackleton hat sich in den letzten zehn Jahren von den Tiefen des Dubstep-Undergrounds der frühen 2000er Jahre zu einem gefragten Künstler mit internationalen Kollaborationen entwickelt.
Camila Nebbia aus Buenos Aires und ansässig in Berlin, ist Saxophonistin, Komponistin, Improvisatorin, bildende Künstlerin und Kuratorin. Die multidisziplinäre Künstlerin schichtet ihre Praxis durch das Schaffen und Zerstören eines Gedächtnisarchivs und setzt sich dabei mit Konzepten von Identität, Migration und Erinnerung auseinander.

The world-renowned percussionist Giridhar Udupa, synonymous with ghatam and the exponent of Carnatic music, released his first album My Name is Giridhar Udupa in 2024, in collaboration with Sam Shackleton. The album merges traditional Indian percussion with electronic elements, breaking new ground in the genre.
Shackleton, who has moved over the past decade from the depths of early 2000s dubstep underground to a diverse range of international collaborations and commissions, refined hypnotic beats on the UK’s cult label Skull Disco.
Camila Nebbia from Buenos Aires, based in Berlin, is a saxophone player, composer, improviser, visual artist and curator. The multidisciplinary artist layers her practice through the creation and destruction of archival memory, exploring the concepts of identity, migration and memory through her work.
