Join Rocky Mountain AAZK as we paint and sip the night away at Kate's Wine Bar! A night of wine, friends, and painting. But instead of a traditional guided paint night on a canvas board, we will be painting a giraffe on a wine bottle! Ticket price includes one glass of wine plus the guided paint session. Additional wine, beer and appetizers are available for purchase. Only 30 tickets available, so be sure to snag yours before we sell out! This event is open seating - we will do our best to make sure everyone in your party sits together. We'll also have a silent auction on site with tours, gift cards and original animal artwork, including big cat paw prints and a painting by gorillas to name a few.
Event proceeds benefit Rocky Mountain AAZK. RMAAZK is a local chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers. Our nonprofit focuses on raising money for local and global conservation efforts, as well as funding professional development grants for our members. In the past, we have supported conservation organizations such as Women for Conservation, Asian Elephant Support, Kea Conservation Trust and Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme to name a few. Our grant program has sent members all across the world to participate in hands-on conservation field work, such as whale shark identification in Mexico, sea turtle releases in Costa Rica, and penguin rehabilitation in South Africa.
