About this Event

Giovanni Ghizzani (b. 1988) began playing piano at a young age, studying at the Siena Conservatory. Drawn to jazz, he graduated with distinction from the Siena Jazz Academy. In 2016, he joined the Jazz Department at the Bologna Conservatory under the mentorship of Gregory Burk. In 2021, he pursued a Master’s degree at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, studying with some of the leading figures in Spanish jazz.

For this special performance, Giovanni will be joined by vocalist Nadya Makoeva, a Barcelona-based singer-songwriter whose style blends jazz, soul and contemporary influences, bringing a distinctive voice and fresh interpretation to the evening’s repertoire.
