Get Creating! Houses can be created from cardboard, pinecones, rolled up newspaper, bottlecaps, sticks, bubble wrap ~ whatever!!! Western Stars Gallery & Studio in Lyons, CO is cheering on the holidays by hosting a special 'Gingerbread (OR?) House Contest'! 3 categories - create 'em traditionally or funkily - CHEERIEST or FUNKIEST or PERFECT FOR FAIRIES OF ALIENS…. Please note directions listed...
Bring your “Gingerbread (OR?) House” by 11:30 on Lyons 1st Sunday (12/1);
Place houses on tables out front of Western Stars;
Provide a tent card w/ the “title of your house” ON FRONT SIDE & “your name & phone#” ON BACK SIDE;
Public Voting NOON to 3;
Ballots & Ballot Box provided by Western Stars;
All houses must be picked-up by 4PM that afternoon;
The houses getting the most votes in each category receive a prize ($50 gift certs to Western Stars ~ to be used by Christmas Eve)…
Voting open to the public viewers that day / slips provided...
Also that day Earl Correy will be playing flute 12:30-2:30ish, special refreshments available, voting on the houses 12-3, sales galore!
