Join me for a cozy, creative workshop full of festive cheer, perfect for getting you into the holiday spirit. In the morning, you'll design and hand-build your very own ceramic gingerbread house using traditional slab-building techniques – no sticky icing required! In the afternoon, add the magic of the season as you decorate your house with colourful slips, festive patterns, and charming Christmas details, making it a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake. Come along, connect with fellow makers, and add a little extra sparkle to your holiday season!
All materials and equipment will be provided. Tea and Coffee will be available throughout the day. The only thing you need to bring is a packed lunch and an apron or wear old clothes.
After the workshop, I will carefully take your gingerbread house home and fire it in my kiln. I will then glaze your work, which will make it stronger and more durable. Your beautiful creations will be ready for collection approximately 6 weeks after the workshop finishes from the Walronds. I will let you know the time and date.
