Join us for our Annual Gingerbread House Competition in association with the Garrison’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony!*Families are invited to design and build a gingerbread house from scratch or from one of the provided kits (while supplies last).
If you build your house from scratch, please submit a blueprint along with the completed house.
*To create your Gingerbread House at home, please pick your kit up from MWR Central starting November 17th. Gingerbread kits are available until supplies run out.
*The Library will host a Gingerbread House Making Workshop November 17th-21st from 1400-1800 each day.
*Gingerbread kits at the Library are reserved for the Gingerbread House Making Workshop only. Supplies are limited, so call to reserve a kit and time slot starting November 1st .
*All houses must be turned into the Library for judging no later than Saturday, November 22 nd .
There will be four categories for judging:
- Ages 4-7
- Ages 8-12
- Ages 13-17
- Ages 18yrs and up
