Bring your imagination and spend 4 hours of quality family time building your ultimate gingerbread house - Over $1000 in Prizes.We are calling all families to participate in our second annual Gingerbread House competition. The participation fee is $75 per family which is your entry fee and includes (1) Gingerbread Kit with extra fun supplies. All kits will be in different styles where you can use your imagination. The proceeds from this event will be used will benefit Sapna Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 that runs a self-directed learning center at the link.
RULES:
Register your family - $75 includes (1) house kit with extra supplies.
With the exception of the base, all Gingerbread Houses must be made of gingerbread or graham cracker. All icings and toppings must be edible, no caulking, spraying, or preserving can be used other than confections. No artificial interior materials may be used to construct or decorate the house. All candies/materials must be unwrapped and free of any inedible materials. all entries must be 100% edible.
Entries must fit on a 24" x 24" cake base and should not be taller than 30". The cake base is provided by the link as part of your kit.
Creation will be moved from the creation table to the display table.
The gingerbread houses will be on display at the link from December 10th until the 16th.
JUDGING:
There will be 2 types of Judging:
Community: The community will have the opportunity to see the gingerbread houses and vote for the most creative and the most original. This will be the People’s Choice Award.
Official Judges: Three judges will select 3 winners and they will be judged based on Overall Appearance, Originality with Creativity, and level of Difficulty.
The winners will receive:
1st Place: Gift
2nd Place: Gift
3rd Place: Gift
Winners will be announced at the link Christmas Party on December 16th. The winners will be announced and posted on our link website and Social Media.
