Join us in Spring, TX for our Gingerbread House Workshop. This Kid Friendly workshop is perfect for those wanting to make memories with their family, without all the prep and clean up that comes with the project. Plus, free Hot Chocolate!
Kim & Heather are here to help you make memories the easy way! In this 1.5 hour long workshop, your group will get one gingerbread house, 3 bags of icing, sprinkles, candies, and lots of fun! Everything you'll need is provided at class along with two professional bakers to help answer any questions.

About this Class
About the Gingerbread Workshop!
This is a Family/Group workshop. One ticket is needed per family, but additional kits can be purchased.
This workshop is for decorating only, not a full class with instructions! You and your family will get to decorate a fun Gingerbread House that tastes amazing, as well as make some fun memories!
We provide everything you will need from the pre-constructed house, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creation home in - we just need YOU!
This workshop is on December 15th from 11-12:30pm so we can have enough time to decorate and ask questions along the way. Bring the family, or come by yourself - we have seating up to 20 people! It's a blast whether you're coming with friends, family members, or solo!
This class is perfect for ages 2+. Worried about fighting- add an extra kit!
The Workshop will be held at Beans and Brews Coffee House at 5200 FM 2920 #100, Spring, TX. Parking is free and easy!
FAQ for Workshops
What will I be doing in the workshop?
• Besides having the most fun ever? You will be decorating your house together as a group while drinking some delicious hot chocolate.
Will there be instructions?
• No. This is a workshop just for creative freedom decorating. However, Kim & Heather will be going around to help with any questions and give any tips you might like
Can I purchase an additional take-home kit?
• Yes! Many people purchase additional house for the table, or a take home house to do later. You can purchase an add-on kit during check-out.
Do I need to know how to bake?
• Nope! We will have the houses pre-made for you and will give you a gingerbread recipe in an email after class so you can create your own on your own!
What do I need to bring?
• Nothing! Everything will be provided for you including our rather tasty gingerbread house. All you need to do is join us and have fun! Messy decorator? You can bring your own apron or just wear easy-to-wash clothing.
What age is best for this workshop?
• Our workshop is for almost any age! From youngsters to grandparents - come on in and have some decorating fun with us! Kiddos under 12 will need an adult present the full workshop. If you think your child may be too young to enjoy the workshop for that long, purchase an additional take-home kit!
Can just my child take the workshop?
• Each ticket is a family ticket, so no additional tickets are necessary! You can definitely help or just watch at the table. All kiddos under 12 must have an adult present for the full workshop.
What will I bring home?
• By the end of the class, you will have created a beautiful house ready to dry for 24-48 hours in their own box. And of course, you’ll have new memories, and fun!
Can I sign up as an individual or as a group?
• This is a group Workshop. The more the merrier! Each ticket is good for one family,(up to 6 ) and one house, but additional kits can be purchased. If you are coming with another family, each family need their own ticket, but let us know you're together so we can seat you appropriately. We are limited to a total of 30 seats per class, so let us know how many you will have and definitely sign up ASAP!
Allergens: Heads up – these cookies include the following ingredients: wheat, eggs, and dairy.
Please note – these cookies are prepared in a kitchen that also bakes with common, known allergens: tree nuts and peanuts. Please consider your allergies before registering- or reach out to host for Allergy Friendly baking kits- only available upon request and availability.
Class Cancelation Policy: Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund including your Eventbrite fees.
Classes with attendance below 5 will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either get a class credit for a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance 7 before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans for that day.
Weather Policy: Sometimes Mother Nature doesn’t play well with cookie class schedules, and seems to be hurt she wasn't invited. In the event of inclement weather, I’ll contact you with options – these may differ depending on the weather event, but rest assured – we’ll figure something out!
Cancellation & Refund Policy for Classes:
We understand that life happens so that’s why we allow you to cancel up to 7 days before the class. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though (and what a nice friend you are). Any cancelation after the 7 days, and before 3 days prior, will be a class credit redeemable for up to 10 months from the credit issue date. We cannot issue refunds after 3 days prior to the class since the cookies are already a bakin'. If you still need to cancel, you can pick up your supplies the day of and diy with the powerpoint we will send out after class.
Illness:
Showing Symptoms Before 7 Days Out:
• If you’re sick prior to the 7-day refund cutoff, you can cancel for a full refund! And might we say thank you for quarantine-ing (is that a word??). Email us to get your refund started.
Showing Symptoms After 7 Days Out:
• For any sickness symptoms prior to your class’s start time but after the 7-day refund policy, please email us before your class’s start time, and we’ll give you a credit for the next class!! Just make sure to email us at least 2 hours before class so we have time to transfer the tickets in Eventbrite, or it will be locked and non-transferable.
You Don't Show Up Or Email Prior To Class:
• If we do not hear from you before your class’s start time, and you do not show up for class, we won’t be able to offer you a refund or a credit regardless of whether you're sick. So please reach out to us if you’re feeling sick before class starts!
You purchased a Class Take-Home Kit and a Class Ticket:
• If you purchased both a class ticket and a take-home kit and email prior to the 7-day refund policy, we'll be happy to offer you either a full refund or a class credit for both your class ticket and DIY kit. If it's after the 7-day cut-off, but 3 days prior to class, we can offer you a class credit and DIY Kit credit. If it's beyond the three days, you may request a class credit; however, you'll need to send a family or friend to pick up your DIY kit from class on your class date. We can't offer refunds on already assembled DIY kits.
