The Band was formed in Switzerland in the late 1970s by Robert Chonia (Sir Roberto) and is currently one of the best live bands in Switzerland! The repertoire included Afro, Pop, Smoothjazz, Soul, R & B and Reggae. The original formation has been enriched by international musicians.The multicultural line-up contributes to the diversity and complexity of The Black Earth Band's live performances.
