Created out of a passion and love for a chapter in the history of rock ’n’ roll and R&B distinct from any other, Gillian Sings Janis celebrates the music and voice of Janis Joplin. Best known as the leader of the Whiskey Jerks, smokey-voiced singer Gillian Snider has put together a set list that includes such Joplin classics as Me and Bobby McGee, Piece of My Heart, and Mercedes Benz.
