The Bistro Showcase on August 1st features a talented young singer-songwriter Gillian Lee starting at 6:30 PM followed by a formally educated and classically trained musician Klo Vivianne starting her set at around 7:15 PM. Admission free. For all ages.
The parking lot directly behind the building is free to park after 6:00 PM. The venue serves European fusion food, wine, beer, soft drinks, and sweets.

Gillian Lee's Introduction
Hello, my name is Gillian Lee!
I am going into my junior year of college as a Math and Education major, with an Art minor. I am very fortunate to go to a school with a lot of talented and devoted musicians who continue to inspire me to make music.
Though I have been writing music for fun for as long as I can remember, I have only recently started sharing some of my work with others. As I have gone through more big life changes, I find that my desire to make music both for myself and to share increases, because it is such a refreshing way to express feelings and process change. Music also brings people together, and I love the communities of musicians I am meeting now as I start sharing my own.
Some of the genres that inspire my songwriting are independent, rhythm & blues, folk, and country, though I have been experimenting with jazz recently as well-- it's a fun challenge!
I appreciate the opportunity to perform at the Finnish Bistro, and am very grateful for those who take time to listen to my and others' music, as it is my way of expressing myself. Thank you!
