Gillian and the Whiskey Jerks

WORLD MUSIC SERIES • DOORS @7:30 • SHOW@8:30PM

After a decade of performing, touring, writing songs, and releasing records, Gillian and the Whiskey Jerks have returned to the studio to record an as yet unnamed album which will be released at this concert. The Whiskey Jerks blend klezmer, rock, gypsy-folk, and jazz with clever lyrics to create their honest prairie sound. Gillian is joined by Anna Bekolay (violin), Sarah Scharf (clarinet/sax), Nevin Buehler (bass), Peter Abonyi (guitar), and Aidan Weiman (drums).
