Come recycle your old electronics at the Laconia-Gilford Lions Club’s Fall Electronics Recycling Fundraising Event. We will accept most electronics for a small fee, with the proceeds going to benefit the Laconia-Gilford Lion’s Club. This event is open to anyone, and will take place Saturday October 5th, from 8:30am to 12:30pm at the Cinemas 8 parking lot at 9 Old Lake Shore Road in Gilford. Our team will unload your items from your vehicle for you while you wait. Most items will be accepted for $5 each, including but not limited to: desktop and laptop computers, LCD monitors, servers, CD/DVD players, camcorders, A/V equipment, VCRs, speakers/stereos, copiers, fax machines, scanners, printers, land line phones, cell phones, and computer accessories. Air conditioners and dehumidifiers will be accepted for $10 each. Televisions (both CRT and LCD/Flat Panel) will be accepted starting at $10 with prices varying with size. Cash or checks will be accepted for payment.
We will not be accepting: oils, paints, solvents, paint-thinners, tires, mercury containing items such as fluorescent & CFL light bulbs or thermometers, smoke detectors, or any other hazardous waste.
