ABOUT GTF
Based in Gilbert, AZ, the Gilbert Town Fiddlers is an extracurricular music education program comprised of students from around the valley. To our knowledge, GTF has the only high school fiddle group in the country whose students collaborate to create their own material for performances. Now in its 12th season, the group performs at events across the state of Arizona, engages with hundreds of young musicians on an annual elementary and junior high tours, brings in nationally-renowned guest artists for both public and private workshops, and aims to inspire joy through music to audiences of all ages. Last season, GTF also launched a middle school program that teaches bowed string players the creative, collaborative skills that allow them to arrange and jam!
