Avast ye, mateys! Bored with attending comedy shows in clubs or bars? Do you yearn for a taste of a life of piracy? Giggle Me Timbers is the show for you!

This comedy show takes place on the famous Grey Ghost as it sails Mooney's Bay for a beautiful sunset cruise. You will be rolling on the deck with laughter at some of Ottawa comedy's funniest scallywags: your host, Tavis Maplesden, featured comedian Owen McGowan, and your headliner, Sarah Boston.

Material discussed during the show will not be appropriate for young pirates— this is strictly an 18+ event.

Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and snacks will be available for purchase at the venue before we set sail.

EVENT DETAILS:

When: Thursday, July 30th. Check-in begins at 7:30pm. The show begins at 8pm. The boat will leave the dock when the show begins, so be sure to arrive on time!

Where: 588 Hog's Back Road. Parking is available. Parking passes can be obtained from Pirate Life Theatre in exchange for your car keys as collateral, returned at the end of the event. You can also pay for parking with Indigo by scanning a QR code, or park for free across the street at Hog's Back Park.

Accessibility notes: This venue is wheelchair accessible. The boarding ramp for the boat is wide enough to accomodate most wheelchairs. Please note that a particularly wide custom motorized wheelchair may not fit. The boat has limited seating, and those who will have difficulty standing for the duration of the show will be boarded first. You are welcome to bring a lawn chair to sit on. There are no bathrooms aboard the boat aside from an emergency-only toilet, so be sure to plan accordingly and drink responsibly! Masks will not be mandatory at this open-air event, but are welcomed.

Weather Cancellation Policy: The show will go on rain or shine! However, if on the morning of the show, the forecast calls for thunderstorms, dangerously high winds, or other weather events that make sailing unadvisable, the show will be cancelled and all tickets fully refunded.
