🎤 The Lineup:
🔥 Host: James Manning III
Known for blue-collar humor, clever wordplay, and hilarious storytelling, James brings his sharp wit and high-energy hosting style to kick off the night.
⚡ Opener: Melina Best
Portland-based comedian Melina Best delivers deadpan humor and slow-burn punchlines about family, love, cats, and the strange social rules we all pretend make sense. Her quiet delivery packs a sneaky punch.
💥 Feature: Johnny Castillo
A U.S. Army veteran and nearly-decade-long comedian, Johnny Castillo brings smart, witty stories about marriage, deployment, his Peruvian heritage, and life outside his comfort zone. A regular at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club in Las Vegas, Johnny is as charming as he is hilarious.
🌟 Closer: Don Gavitte
A Portland-based Gen X dad, high school history teacher, and veteran comedian, Don Gavitte turns the absurdities of teaching, parenting, and everyday life into hilarious stories. He’s a featured performer throughout the PNW and producer of The Teacher Show, which has been praised by NPR and Willamette Week.
