Gift Making: Wine Stopper And Cheese Board With Slicer

Here's your chance to impress your friends with great gifts. This is a comprhensive 6.5 hour class. In the morning you will be making a cheese board with beautiful contrasting woods you select and incorporate Rockler's EXCLUSIVE cheese slicer. You will be gluing up with approprite water resistant glue and learn the importance of proper clamp selection/ glue up techniques, adding slicer, sanding and finishing your board. There will a 30 minute lunch break. After lunch you will be turning a wine stopper on a lathe under the guidance of our expert instructor. You will incorporate Rockler's EXCLUSIVE wine bottle stopper hardware. Take home your new masterpieces or give as a gift. Either way, you will pick up valuable skills that will last a lifetime. We look forward to seeing you! Ages 14-17 require a parent or legal guardian present. Class participants receive a 15% discount for merchandise purchased in store the day of class. Some restrictions apply. Safety gear will be provided if you do not supply your own. Close toed shoes required for all classes.
