Our classes and workshops are the perfect “unique” alternative to a material gift or “stuff” for any occasion! We celebrate Veteran’s Day in November and why not make that special veteran a patriotic pen? In this class you will learn how to turn a pen using your choice of a wood or an acrylic blank as well as the tricks to a proper CA finish. Use these techniques to create high-end one of a kind pens that will stand as an exceptional gift or in your collection. Class fee includes pen hardware kit and acrylic/hybrid blank for the pen body. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
