Gift Making: Ornament Made With Tech

Tis the season for gift giving ! Make perfect designs everytime with the Shaper Origin (it's kinda like a router you can program to cut what you want with amazing accuracy and detail). Students will be using the handheld SHAPER ORIGIN cnc to create either a Christmas Tree or Snowman ornament. It's as simple as SCAN, DESIGN and CUT and lots of fun! Explore the exciting possibilities of woodworking with the use of technology. This is a 2 for 1 class. You will learn how to set up, create designs and load information into the tool to create desired results as well as leave with an ornament to gift or keep. Ornament will be made of baltic birch plywood with red, green or white dyed Italian veneer. Ages 14-17 require parent or legal guardian. Students receive 15% discount for merchandise purchased in store day of class. Some restrictions apply. Close toed shoes are required for all classes.
