Ecstatic Dance SLC began on Sunday mornings at the Krishna Temple. This week for Madeleine’s Birthday we are holding a special Sunday Morning Dance! 🤍🌈*There will NOT be a Sunday morning dance at the Clubhouse.
Having DJ'd/Facilitated almost a thousand Ecstatic Dances over the past decade, Madelion has dedicated her life to this craft. Living and cultivating community both in SLC & the Big Island of Hawaii, the birthplace of Ecstatic Dance, Madelion's musical dance journeys are crafted and delivered fresh from the very veins of the volcanic core of Pele's ecstatic flow
In Hawaii and Utah especially, her dances hit capacities of attendance, and it's a rare and honored treasure for her to play for her SLC home community that she loves so much. This is also her SLC birthday celebration, so in that spirit, we offer this dance in the Spirit of the Gift, meaning your contribution is entirely self determined.

Ecstatic Dance SLC weaves together world class DJs, immersive sound journeys, and free-form movement. It's a substance-free, all ages, community celebration where you can simply be yourself, and experience rejuvenation and inspiration through connection, dance & music.
Our space also has multiple relaxation areas, a beautiful alter which offers tarot cards, and healing crystals and art from the community

Cost:
$20 (this dance is gift based and you can pay what you feel inspired to gift.)
Movement/Yoga: Included with Ecstatic Dance Ticket, or $5 for just the Movement/Yoga class
Dance Tokens available for as little as $15 per event
We also offer Childcare for free!

Community Guidelines:
- Move however you wish, while respecting the space of those around you
- No talking on the dance floor, there is plenty of space in the temple for conversation
- We ask that you refrain from use of cell phones, photos, video, & strong scents during the dance
- Ecstatic Dance is a Drug & Alcohol Free Space
- Our dance is built on consent. It's important to get a non-verbal invitation to dance with a partner, and we ask that you maintain that level of respect during and after the dance ends.
What To Bring:
- Comfortable, loose fitting clothes that freely allow movement
