WHAT ARE THE BEADS FOR?

The upcoming art path, the ARTery!

• After the workshop, the CAPS instructor will glaze and fire the beads and at a later date invite participants back for a stacking ceremony for permanent placement on the ARTery.

WHAT IS THE ARTery?

The Town of Superior's Cultural Arts & Public Spaces (CAPS) advisory committee is working on aquiring artworks for upcoming ARTery art path, most of which will be purchased or commissioned. But some of those artworks are intended to be community projects so that Superior's residents can be involved. The giant clay beads will be used to create multiple ceramic totems and then placed onto the ARTery.
