From Oct. 28th till November 1st, as the nights become longer, get into the spirit of the season and join one of our Geddington Ghost Walks.
Around sunset we will be wandering through the darkened ancient jitties, lanes and streets of Geddington recreating traditions from our ancient Pagan and Christian pasts telling ghostly tales and reviving the ancient tradition of Souling. Learn about the ancient midwinter rituals that have formed our modern
Halloween Bonfire night and Christmas - and enjoy a few good old
fashioned ghost stories!
Bring some props appropriate for Samhain - a carved gourd, some small guise to hide from ghosts and ghouls or to trick them into believing you are one of them! Don't forget your torches or lanterns.
The Ghost Walk begins at the Eleanor Cross in Geddington and ends there 90 minutes later.
Price: £5 for adults £3 for children between 10 and 17
