Take a guided evening stroll back in history as you walk along the path to Starved Rock and the Illinois River. Historical figures who once frequented the area return in their ghostly form for one night each year. Ghosts will regale visitors with their sordid tales of life and death at the famous site known today as Starved Rock State Park. Registration is required and will open online at Eventbrite starting 9/26/24 at 8 a.m. Canines or other pets are not allowed on hikes during this event. The event is not suitable for young children or those who are not comfortable walking at night or managing stairs. The hike is .6 miles total from the Visitor Center and will cover 2 staircases.
Each hike time has a separate registration and each person must register individually.
