Mainstage World Premiere of a new play produced by Placer Repertory Theater
About this Event

"The stories we tell say a great deal about who we are," says the formidable yet loveable Dr. Dessa Dagmar.

This is the story of 30 years in the life of Dr. Dagmar and her daughter Aubrey, or the story of many moments from nearly 200 years of history taking place on this same land in Placer County.

This play could be said to be about ghostly echoes. The playwright, T.S. Forsyth, sums up the play this way: The play is about how individual and community history haunts us, and how we haunt our history to help define ourselves. Ultimately, it is about perspective and self-definition. "But that sounds pensive, and this is an active, quick-moving drama with a great deal of charm and humor," says the playwright.
