Do heads float beneath the Capitol? Is there an unknown heroine who protects the state from sexual misadventures? How it that a cow moos near Colfax and Broadway? What about the reported ghosts at the Brown Palace? How about the Spirit of John Henry Gower (leader of the American Society for Psychic Research)? Answers to these questions and other wild tales will be provided by Denver Historian and Local Legend Phil Goodstein, and your ticket is being purchased courtesy of Jessica Abegg, Live and Love Denver Keller Williams, so be sure to snag one before they run out!
Meet at the statue on the east lawn of the Capitol along Grant Street between 14th and Colfax avenues.
*Important: these tickets retail for $25 each, but are my gift to you. Space is limited, and demand is high. If you cannot use your tickets for any reason, please give 24 hour cancellation so that others may join in.
-The tour tickets are free, but Phil will be giving great deals on his Denver history books sales and always accepts tips!
-The walk is family-friendly, so bring the kids for a lovely late summer stroll!
-Feel free to bring a friend (or two)!
-We will begin and end the tour at the State Capitol at 200 Colfax.
-We will be walking for about two hours, so please wear comfortable shoes and plan for weather.
