Ghostlight Cabaret: Adena King

One voice. A lifetime of music. An evening made for the Ghostlight.
Classically trained vocalist Adena King steps into the spotlight for an intimate installment of the Ghostlight Cabaret, bringing a musical journey spanning more than four decades and an extraordinary range of styles.
From musical theatre and classical performance to years spent singing with country bands across Ohio and later discovering a passion for jazz, Adena’s career has never fit neatly into a single genre. Renaissance audiences may recognize her from appearances as Carlotta Campion in Follies, Maria in The Sound of Music, Anna in The King and I, Violet in 9 to 5, and Mary Jane in Big River. Now, the Ghostlight offers an opportunity to experience her voice in an entirely different setting.
Tucked inside the historic Renaissance Theatre, the Ghostlight Lounge transforms into an intimate, candlelit speakeasy-style venue where just 80 guests experience live entertainment remarkably close to the performer.
Join us for an up-close evening celebrating the music, influences, and experiences that have shaped Adena King’s remarkable journey as a vocalist and performer.
