A young couple, Anna and Frank, come to an abandoned cabin by a lake on the shore of Lake Belle Reve, MS. Here the hear the tragic story of Jack, Jenna, and Andy told to them by a mysterious Caretaker. When Frank’s brother, Drake, shows up history starts to repeat itself. This gothic ghost story reveals itself through song and the narration of the Troubadour and the Caretaker.
Since 1927, Bakersfield Community Theatre has helmed works that encourage diversity and inclusivity, promoted local artists, and focused on the community aspects of theatre. While some scripts call for specific character guidelines, people of all ages, races, ethnicities, gender identities, and physical abilities are encouraged to audition.
