David Lee Crow, known worldwide as Ghastly, has unleashed his darker alter ego GHENGAR—a heavy bass project fusing dubstep, riddim, and metal influences with horror‑themed stage design and immersive production. Originally from a dairy farm in Arizona, Crow’s musical journey began at age 12 and evolved through years of touring in his teenage metal band The Irish Front before transitioning into electronic music.

The GHENGAR persona exploded in 2022 with the Necromancer EP and the fully interactive Necromancer Tour, captivating fans with bone‑crushing sound design, a signature mask, and cinematic visuals. Since then, GHENGAR has become a staple at major festivals including Lost Lands, Shaq’s Bass All‑Stars, Freakfest, and Desert Moon, known for high‑intensity sets that blur the lines between music and performance art.

In 2025, GHENGAR’s momentum hit new heights with the viral success of “HELP MEEEE!!!”, a retro arcade‑inspired riddim track that dominated bass playlists worldwide. That same year, Crow announced a hiatus from his Ghastly project to focus solely on GHENGAR, signaling a new era of relentless sound and immersive experiences.

This evolution comes to life on the GHENGAR: Surrounded Tour 2025, which makes its highly anticipated stop at Vancouver’s Aurum Event Centre. Fans will experience a fully 360‑degree stage setup, surrounding the crowd with crushing bass, dynamic visuals, and GHENGAR’s signature horror‑themed atmosphere—putting attendees right at the center of the chaos.
