About this Event
Our Getting Started with User Research one-day workshop takes our highly popular 10-week Mastering User Research course and brings you the essentials, taking you through the research process from start to finish and discussing everything you should think about when delivering against a research brief. The day will have elements of solo work and group activities, and takes place inside our studio in Shoreditch, London.
What Will You Learn?
We’ll talk you through our own process, covering initial planning and approach. through to understanding the importance of research all the way through to launching your product. We’ll cover the concepts, but also demonstrate the exercises and methods researchers use daily to push their products forward and ensure they’ll succeed and stand out. Topics and concepts you will learn about include research planning, various research methods (and the difference between qualitative and quantitative methods), how to ask good questions and run effective workshops, synthesising user research data, and the different deliverables that can come out of a research project. After a full day of learning, you’ll be equipped with both the tools and the mindset needed to deliver an end-to-end research project.
